Our service is based on Open Source solutions and hosted service principles, which lately have become very popular alternative to high cost commercial solutions, offering great flexibility and integration.

Fee Based User Account Subscription
Stikpoint.com E-mail & Collaboration services are provided on Subscription Fee basis. You must have at least one User Account registered, to receive all Free Benefits provided for User Account.

Easy Subscription Management & Cancellation
We DO NOT provide any documentary contracts to use our Online E-mail & Collaboration services, if only you require special kind of Service Level Agreement or Long Period Agreements. Subscription fees stated above are considered as Advanced payment for the period of usage - one month - the minimum period of subscription.
Making Advance payment for subscription period, you are allowed to use your account for one month. In case you would like to stop using Stikpoint.com services, no documentary approval is needed. Just DO NOT pay next subscription fee advanced payment, and your account will be deleted automatically. Subscription fees paid in advance for one month period are NOT REFUNDABLE.
How much disk space is included in Base subscription fee?
Currently we provide service with 1Gigabyte of disk space, which is included in the subscription fee. This amount applies to all data (but not limited to), which are located in User's Account, including RSS feed's and e-mail folders, as well as files, documents, calendar and ToDo list records, etc.
How Subscription Fees are calculated and What is a fee for Additional Disk space usage?
Because we do not limit your account's disk space, we monthly do check actual disk space usage on registered users' accounts. Such space checking currently is done at the beginning of each month. Upon that, next period invoice includes basic account subscription fee and additional disk space usage fee, calculated on actual usage amount.
Additional disk space usage fee is invoiced for minimum subscription period - one month, and for minimum step - 1Gb. This means, that you are invoiced additional 0.70EUR + VAT, while using next gigabyte of disk space, until you decrease account disk space usage, or grow to next gigabyte, when next 0.70EUR + VAT will be charged.
Between actual disk space usage checks, you are allowed to use as many space as needed, and decrease it if necessary at the end of the running month of subscription.
Lower your expenses more
We offer to decrease your expenses further more. You can make advance payments for more than one month period. Discounts for such payments are 5% from invoice for 6 months payments and 10% for one year advance payments.
HOWEVER such payments DO NOT guaranty, that your account will be paid up for stated periods. We use months to easy calculations. It depends on real disk space usage during this period. We decrease amounts stated above on monthly basis from your advance payment and send a report to you. In such case, if you decide to stop using Stikpoint.com services, we calculate actual usage period and amount (minimum steps 1 month and 1Gigabyte) and refund you left over amount. Amounts for discounts are recalculated basing on actual usage period.
To provide services, we use advanced web technologies and they should be connected with software from various producers and developers. We try to do the best, to ensure fluent and enjoyable reception of our services. Therefore it is essential, that your computer systems are kept up to date as from technical perspective, as well as from software and update perspectives. To help you guide through such questions, here is the list of requirements, that should be fulfilled:
Ensure stable broadband or wireless internet connection
Our online services are mainly based on access through internet communications. Currently there are many different Internet Service Providers, offering different grade of connections to Internet. To receive fluent Online services it is essential, that your internet connection has to be stable and reasonably fast. For office users we tested, that up to 8Mbs DSL connection for intensive service use is enough for 5-10 active simultaneous users. Although DSL line's upload speed (which is usually lower, than download speed) is efficient only for small file transfers. If you require to e-mail or operate large files (more than 1Mb in size), we encourage you to look for symmetric DSL line or better connection establishment in your office or house. Remember, communications became very crucial in day-to-day operations nowadays. For mobile applications UMTS (3G) connection is sufficient, and even EGPRS is OK.
Computer technical requirements
Our systems do work on older PCs or Laptops too, but performance of such machines will not allow you to enjoy our online services. You can still successfully use our systems with software installed locally, but you will loose additional functionality of our services. Computer has to have at least 256Mb of free ram, to operate fluently with our portals.
Internet Browser usage
Our services are tested and work on all popular internet browsers, including (but not limited to): Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome. Due to technical sofware differences, our tests showed, that Microsoft Internet Explorer works slower, than the rest mentioned Internet Browsers, but your choice should be made basing on your competence and/or corporate policies. The fastest results were gained on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. As well we tested several mobile and smart phones for usability, including iPhone 3G, which appeared the best from usability perspective.
Specially on Microsoft Internet Explorer
Special announcement should be made on Internet Explorer case. We encourage you to use at least Internet Explorer v7.x or later. Recent Microsoft changes and releases of Internet Explorer v7.x & v8.x did change things considerably and please DO UPDATE YOUR SYSTEMS to get latest internet browser from Microsoft's updates site.
While Stikpoint.com E-mail & Collaboration services do work on Microsoft Explorer v6, the fluentness and enjoyability is limited. It is more reasonable to switch to HTML portal version, to preserve main portal services and increase operation speed. However most advanced functionality will be disabled. If you do not have a possibility to update your system to at least Microsoft Internet Explorer v7.x, please consider to switch to another internet browser, to receive all portal functionality.
IE6 Future!
Because this internet browser is morally and technically out of date and even Microsoft Corporation acknowledged it, currently we stop support and development for our services on Microsoft Internet Explorer v6 and less. In the nearest future our portals would not be accessible from this browser.
